Former Doctor Charged with Assault Allegations Involving 38 Patients

Legal authorities report that a ex- doctor now faces charges for carrying out sexual assaults against thirty-eight individuals who were patients.

Details of the Grave Allegations

The accused, Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham faces allegations of dozens of sexual offences – comprising acts against children younger than 13 – between 2017 to 2021.

One senior prosecutor stated, “Legal teams have worked at length to support a detailed and complex investigation, carefully reviewing the evidence to establish that there is sufficient evidence to proceed to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”

The Police Inquiry

These allegations come after what police described as a “complex investigation” into alleged assaults at medical facilities: the Royal Stoke university hospital and Russells Hall hospital.

Spencer will appear at the local magistrates' court on January 20th.
